Single-channel video

Departing from a personal archive, D_ > Photos > 2012 > 07 July performatively approaches the topic of sexual violence. The personal archive as a digital storage location becomes the site of the performance. The proof of memory, doubts regarding its validity as well as social and legal perspectives on sexual violence are negotiated in a continuous screen recording. A documentary approach is used to link different temporalities. It is about violence in folder structures and the encounter with an open gaze.
