Jirapo is a nest of stingless native bees, present in tropical territories since before the European invasion of the Americas. During one of her field trips, Laura discovers several of these nests in the human graves of her ancestors. Beeswax – glow – nest – darkness: a spiral that questions the relationships between human death, the body, violence, resistance, and sweetness.
